Kincardine elementary school athletes brave cold at track and field meet

The Grades 7-8 students at Kincardine District Senior School, along with the Grades 5-6 students at Elgin Market and Huron Heights public schools, braved the cold weather to compete in their track and field meet, Thursday, June 2.
Athletes took part in running races, high jump, triple jump, running long jump, standing long jump, shot put and ball throw.
Despite the cold, windy weather, they all did admirably.
