Nominations open for 2015 Huron-Bruce outstanding citizen award

Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson has opened nominations for the 2015 Huron-Bruce outstanding citizen award which recognizes the hard work of community leaders from across the riding.

 

"Huron-Bruce is shaped by the countless individuals who dedicate themselves to their communities," says Thompson. "Recognizing their achievements is important, and I am looking forward to doing it again this year".

 

Past winners have ranged from members of community organizations, to chairpersons of local committees, to church choir members.

Nominations must include the name of the nominee and a 250-word submission that highlights why the individual is deserving of recognition. Nominations close Nov. 20.
