Lucknow Fall Fair was a rainy, windy, cold weekend
Despite the rainy, windy, cold weather, the Lucknow Fall Fair forged ahead, complete with a parade, entertainment and activities at the Lucknow fairgrounds on the weekend.
Friday night, was the official opening of the 152nd fair, and the crowning of Jessica Snowden as the new Lucknow Fall Fair Ambassador, and Shelby Barger as the L'il Ambassador. There was also a pie and cake auction.
Saturday, featured several animal shows, including light horse, 4-H beef and 4-H poultry, sheep, beef invitational, and dairy.
The parade marched through downtown Lucknow, led by the fire trucks, and afternoon events included Dan the Music Man, Snippity the Clown, face-painting, Lucknow Fire Department games, log-sawing contest, and the children's pedal tractor pull.
The evening featured a youth dance at the Legion, and hypnotist Jeff West at the arena, followed by the fall fair dance.
The fall fair breakfast was held Sunday morning, with a community church service in the arena, pet show at the gazebo, and Touch the Truck display.
