Ripley Lions helping those in need at Christmas time

November 4, 2022

The Ripley and District Lions Club is, once again, assisting those in Huron Township who need some extra help at Christmas.

Individuals or families may be referred through schools, community service agencies or churches. Referrals must be received by Nov. 24, and the delivery date for gifts will be Nov. 29.

If you are in need, or wish to refer individuals or families in need, contact Elaine at 519-395-0239, or LouAnne at 519-385-5823. The Lions Club asks that you seek permission from the individual or family prior to making a referral.

Each individual/family will receive gift cards for groceries, clothing, and toys for children under the age of 18, who reside in the family home.

The Christmas hamper program is funded by the generous donations of individuals, service groups, churches and businesses in the community. Donations of cash or gift cards are greatly appreciated.

Cheques can be made out to Ripley and District Lions, and mailed to Ripley Lions Hampers, 119 Hemlock Street, Kincardine, Ontario, N2Z 2X3. E-transfers may be sent to ripleylionshampers@gmail.com.

If you have questions about donations or the hamper program, contact John at 519-955-9884.

Thank you for making this a happier Christmas for individuals and families in the community!
