The Kincardine Fire Department held a bus rescue training day, Wednesday.
The training was supported by Ross Young Bus Lines which provided an out-of-service bus for first responders to practise on during the various rescue scenarios.
The bus drivers were part of the training and participated by acting as bus occupants and patients.
Firefighters from Kincardine and Tiverton fire stations took part, as well the South Bruce OPP and other area fire departments.
In one scenario, the firefighters were required to perform a roof cut assist in removing occupants from the bus. The second scenario of the day involved am overturned bus.
