Support Kincardine Big Brothers, Big Sisters on Giving Tuesday

November 26, 2022

Giving Tuesday is the world’s largest generosity movement. It started in 2012 as a day that encourages people to donate to different causes around the world to inspire generosity.

This Tuesday, Nov. 29, don’t forget to support Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kincardine and District. Your support will help ignite the power and potential of people in Southern Bruce and Northern Huron counties.

Three ways you can give and do something BIG:

  1. Spark Potential – Make a One-Time Donation
  2. Ignite a Dream – Be a Monthly Donor
  3. Empower Change – Volunteer with us

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kincardine and District builds thriving communities by empowering lives through mentorship. The agency works with youth, aged six to 16, and matches them with a mentor based on mutual experiences and shared interests.

Many young people in the community face a variety of adversities in their lives, resulting in toxic stress that can negatively impact their development. With the support of a mentor, they can overcome these adversities and develop the confidence needed to reach their full potential.

And the need is greater than ever, since the agency expanded its service areas to reach youth in Kincardine, Ripley, Lucknow, Wingham, Goderich, Teeswater, Walkerton and in between.
