Wood carvings removed from Lewis Park in Ripley
November 27, 2022
The wood carvings in Lewis Park, Ripley, have been removed due to safety concerns.
Because of their age, the carvings became unstable to the point that there was a danger of them falling or injuring a visitor to the park.
The carvings were created in 2008 during the Lewis Park re-development. Huron-Kinloss community services staff had the stumps removed and levelled with topsoil and grass seed.
If you have questions, contact the community services department at 519-395-2909 or E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
