Kincardine Legion craft show returns after two-year hiatus

November 27, 2022

It was cold and snowy outside, but the Kincardine Legion Hall was warm, inviting and brimming with artwork, handcrafts and baked goods at the 40th annual Craft Show and Bake Sale, Saturday, Nov. 19.

About 20 vendors were on hand, selling a variety of items, including Christmas ornaments, blankets, crocheted animals and hats, wooden charcuterie boards, candles, and home decor.

The event also featured a bake table, a soup-and-sandwich luncheon, and a raffle draw.

Organizer Diane Picot said it was great to have the event return after having to cancel it for the past two years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Her mother, Blanche, started the craft show in 1980.
