Norwich woman wins AIM Kincardine quilt draw

A Norwich woman is the lucky winner of the Kincardine Sunset Quilters' Guild charity quilt draw, with proceeds to AIM (Anti-Slavery In Modern times) Kincardine.

The winning ticket belongs to Paula Rongits. Her ticket, No. 00173, was purchased at the Tiverton Sports Centre, Dec. 28, at the Silver Stick hockey tournament.

The draw raised more than $1,000 for AIM Kincardine which goes toward the fight to end human trafficking in Canada.

Anna Lee Shields (right) was chosen to draw the ticket. In the last two years, Anna Lee has raised more than $3,000 to help end human trafficking, through sponsorships and riding her bike at the annual RIDE for Refuge in Waterloo.
