RE: "Get Real: Paul Henderson plaque should remain at the Davidson Centre"
Good investigative journalism!
I think you are absolutely right that there would be much more attention given to the Paul Henderson plaque at the Davidson Centre. Perhaps there is a reason that it should/has to go back to the hospital location? If not, the new location makes sense.

Agree 100 per cent, great idea and more people will see it at the Davidson Centre where all the hockey games are played!

To the Editor:
My understanding is that it was placed at Kincardine hospital because Paul Henderson was driven there by sleigh and horses when he was born.
It was intended as a memorial to the story behind his birth, nothing to do directly with the winning goal in ‘72.
It should return to the hill!

All the times I’ve been to the hospital and a patient there, I never noticed it. I agree the Davidson Centre would be much better.

To the Editor:
I would agree the placement of the plaque at the hospital was unusual. I read it while waiting for my ride to pick me up.
I think you are correct, Liz, that more folks will read the plaque with interest with it being at the arena, where the hockey people tend to be! Happy New Year!

To the Editor:
Totally agree, Liz.
So many more people will see it and actually read it at the Davidson Centre.
A hockey player's plaque should be displayed at a hockey arena not a hospital.
