South Bruce OPP arrest three on criminal charges; seek wanted man

THREE MEN FACING CRIMINAL CHARGES
 

(KINCARDINE, ON) – Sept. 30, at 1:10 p.m., a member of the South Bruce OPP stopped to check on a black Pontiac Grand Am in the Sobeys Kincardine parking lot, located along Durham Street in Kincardine. 

The occupants of the vehicle refused to co-operate and, as other officers arrived, they were taken into custody. The investigation culminated with criminal charges being laid. 
 

Forty-one-year-old Shane PATTERSON of Brantford has been charged with extortion and conspiracy to commit an offence. He was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing Oct. 1.
 

Twenty-four-year-old Andrew LEWIS of Brantford has been charged with extortion and conspiracy to commit an offence. He was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing Oct. 1.
 

Twenty-nine-year-old Andrew JOSEPH of Simcoe has been charged with fail to comply. He was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing Oct. 1.
 

SOUTH BRUCE OPP SEEKING WANTED MAN
 

(HURON TWP, ON) – Members of the South Bruce OPP and the South Bruce OPP Crime Unit are attempting to locate a wanted man who fled from a stolen truck that was burned Sept. 30.
 

Through further investigation, the suspect was identified as 29-year-old Dale SOUTHARD of Palmerston (R). He is described as a white male, 6’2” tall, weighing 190 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is currently wanted for dangerous driving, disqualified driving, flight from police, possess stolen property and fail to comply.
 

Investigators would like anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to contact the OPP immediately by dialing 911 or their nearest police authority. No attempt should be made to apprehend him.
