The Tiverton Lions Club presents "Shiverton Tour of Terror," Saturday, Oct. 24, from 7-10 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 25, from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $5/person available at Tiverton Kwik Way and Sobeys Kincardine.
The Tiverton Lions will be hosting a Family Hallowe'en Dance, Saturday, Oct. 31, from 7-11 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre in Tiverton. Cost is $5 per person or $20 per family. Games, prizes, food booth.
The Tiverton Lions will be holding their Annual Christmas Bazaar, Saturday, Nov. 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you would like to reserve a table, contact Lion Gerda 519-368-7792.
The South West Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) is running a free, six-week workshop on Thursdays, beginning Oct. 22, at the Tiverton Lions Hall. We all strive toward health and well-being. This goal can be hard to reach when dealing with a lifelong condition.
The South West CCAC Self-Management program offers this free workshop to take charge of your health. The workshop is run by two peer leaders who lead the group through six to eight activities each week of the six-week workshop. Sessions last for 2.5 hours and activities give participants the opportunity to try out and practise self-management tools, share personal experiences and learn from other group members.
