Wolves take on Winterhawks in Game 7 of series, Tuesday night in Ripley

The Ripley Wolves anticipated sailing through the WOAA Senior AA semi-final series against the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks, in four games straight.
Up three games to zip, the Wolves lost the next three games, allowing the Winterhawks to battle back and tie the series, 3-3, and forcing Game 7.
The deciding match will be held Tuesday, March 14, at 8:30 p.m., at the Ripley Arena
March 4, the Wolves lost Game 4, by a score of 4-1. Friday night, they lost, 5-3, and Saturday night in Port Elgin, they lost 4-1.
Saturday night, the Winterhawks jumped out to a quick lead from which the Wolves couldn't recover. Ethan Skinner scored the lone Wolves goal midway through the third period, from Garrett Meurs and Cody Britton.
The Wolves fired 38 shots on the Hawks net, while Jason Hamilton faced 31.
In the other Senior AA semi-final, the Tavistock Royals upset the top-seeded Seaforth Centenaires with an overtime win in Game 6.
