Bulldogs face elimination Friday as Ironmen bring the hammer down

The Kincardine Bulldogs are down 3-1 in their Provincial Junior Hockey League quarter-final series against the Wingham Ironmen, after taking their third 3-2 loss in a row, Tuesday night in Wingham.
Wingham opened the scoring early in the first before Jordan Beisel scored a powerplay goal for the ‘Dogs, tying the game at 1-1, assisted by Gavin Downs and Gavin Gibbons.
The Ironmen went ahead again late in the second frame, and minutes later, Kincardine's Harrison Meulensteen scored from Carter Servais and Steven Grant, to tie it again at 2-2.
Wingham scored midway in the third, and Kincardine could not tie things up, taking yet another 3-2 loss.
Kincardine goalie Carter Garvie made 36 saves on 39 shots.
Game 5 runs Friday, March 17, in Wingham at 8 p.m.
Game 6 is Saturday, March 18, in Kincardine at 7:30 p.m.
And, if necessary, Game 7 will run Sunday, March 19, at 2:30 p.m. in Wingham.
