Kincardine Bulldogs present awards at team banquet
The Kincardine Bulldogs of the Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL) honoured their players, coaching staff and executive at the awards banquet, held Friday night, in the Kincardine Hall at the Davidson Centre.

General manager Warren Beisel welcomed the crowd, and everyone enjoyed a delicious meal.

Following the main course, over-age players Steve Grant, Brennan Long and Ryan Litt posed with two cakes, as these players will not be returning next season. They then cut and served the cake for dessert.

Beisel thanked the Bulldogs executive, the volunteers, the coach and trainers, and the staff who help make the home games run so smoothly. He also thanked title sponsors Brad and Melanie Pike of Kincardine Home Hardware for their continued support of the team.

Beisel gave special thanks to the parents and the players for their commitment to the Bulldogs throughout the season.

Coach Todd Norman thanked Beisel for his solid support of the team. “He does so much more than a general manager is required to do. He wears many hats and he does a fantastic job. He lives and breathes the Bulldogs hockey club!”

He also gave special mention to trainers Caden Allingham and Phil Bernath, J.D. Gouthro who attends every practice and every game and is a huge help to the team, the players who were a great group of guys to work with this season, and the parents whose commitment to the game makes a huge difference.

Beisel reminded the players of the Indoor Beach Volleyball event, May 4-6; the Beach Dance, July 28-29; Golf Tournament, Aug. 11 at Ainsdale Golf Course, and that training camp begins in mid-August.
