Impaired driver caught at RIDE check in Kincardine

(KINCARDINE, ON) – Oct. 12, at 11:33 p.m., members of the South Bruce OPP were conducting a RIDE check on Broadway in Kincardine when a grey Toyota Prius was stopped. 

Officers found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. Twenty-nine-year-old Michael LAPOINTE of London was charged with care or control over-80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 2, to answer to the charge.
