(MUNICIPALITY OF BROCKTON, ON) – South Bruce OPP officers continue to investigate a fail-to-remain collision that took place this past weekend south of Paisley.
At about 1:15 p.m. Oct. 18, the South Bruce OPP and Bruce County EMS responded to the collision scene located on Bruce County Road 3 at Concession Road 14 to find a Mazda 3 sedan in the ditch.
The 49-year-old driver of Kitchener and his 45-year-old passenger of Milton both sustained minor injuries in the collision.
The driver of the Mazda reported he was travelling southbound on Bruce Road 3 from Paisley when he encountered a northbound vehicle that crossed into his lane. The driver took evasive action to avoid colliding with the northbound vehicle. The driver of the northbound vehicle slowed down, but failed to remain.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-coloured sedan, possibly a Pontiac Grand Prix or similar-looking vehicle.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed this collision.
