The Tiverton and District Lions are hosting the First Annual Shiverton Haunted House Tour this weekend. A preview of the event was held Friday night for volunteers and homeowners, wandering through the four homes decorated for Halloween.
What a sight - come to Tiverton and wander through the homes - if you dare! For a $5 ticket, you can obtain a map of the homes at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre in Tiverton, and then start touring these grisly and terrifying places of Halloween horror! (see photo gallery below)

Tiverton and District Lions Club
The Tiverton Lions will be hosting a Family Hallowe'en Dance, Saturday, Oct. 31, from 7-11 p.m. at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre. Cost is $20 per family or $5 per person - games, prizes, food booth!
The Tiverton Lions will be holding their annual Christmas Bazaar, Saturday, Nov. 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you would like to reserve a table, contact Lion Gerda at 519-368-7792.
The Tiverton Lions Club would like to sponsor a local youth, between the ages of 16 and 20, who would like to take part in the International Lions Clubs Youth exchange in June/July, 2016. Applicants must reside in Bruce Township, Kincardine Township or Tiverton. Deadline for application is Dec. 15, 2015, to Lion Brent Crawford, 519-368-5361.
Knox Presbyterian Church will be holding its Fall Turkey Supper, Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre.

Halloween is upon us again and I’d like to remind everyone to take care. Children are not careful when there is a promise of a bag of sugar across the street. Have fun but be careful, and for all the adult children, don’t drink and drive. Arrive Alive. But most of all, have fun.
