No injuries as sailboat washes ashore on Station Beach, Kincardine

Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services, along with Kincardine Emergency Management, received the report of a beached sailing vessel at Station Beach, Kincardine, Monday morning.
Staff attended the scene and made contact with the owner of the “Chimera.”
Kincardine fire chief Brad Lemaich reports that the boat’s occupant made it safely to shore and was not injured in the grounding.
Currently, there are no hazards associated with the stranded vessel and arrangements for the removal of the sailboat are under way. Fire department staff will continue to monitor the situation as it progresses.
