Winner of Wednesday’s Catch the Ace progressive lottery draw, was Samantha York who chose Envelope No. 2 which contained the Six of Spades. She won $590, but if she had caught the Ace of Spades, she would have won $4,292! Keep buying those tickets and help support our local charities. Tickets are available on-line and at the Kincardine Legion, Jean’s Family Restaurant, InStyle Hair Salon, Sleepers Bed Gallery, Edward Fuels and the Little Blue Coffee House and Kwik Way in Tiverton.

There must have been something in the air at the Saturday Meat Draw as Lynn Steinhoff, Doc Roppel and Ross Dodman were all double-dippers, and all of them are from Tiverton. They must have had a great barbecue on Sunday! Karin McDonald, “not” from Tiverton, won $135 in our 50/50 draw.

Thursday, was the last day for our famous Bingo Burgers, but not to worry, Bingo Dogs will start up Oct. 5.

As fall gets into full swing, the Legion has many events on the horizon. Our usual weekly events include Mixed Darts every Tuesday at 7 p.m., Catch the Ace every Wednesday at 4 p.m. sharp until it is caught, Bingo and Bingo Dogs every Thursday and competitive darts starting at 7 p.m., Thursday, as well.

Jam Sessions are every Friday starting at 7 p.m., Euchre is every Friday at 7 p.m., the Meat Draw is every Saturday starting at 2:30 p.m., Fiddlers play every other Tuesday, the next Fiddle Night is Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.

The next Trivia Night is Oct. 27, and registration begins Monday, Oct. 16. Bring along those people who seem to know all that useless information and put them to the test!

The Legion will be closed Monday, Oct. 9, for Thanksgiving.
