Closure of Scotiabank in Kincardine is huge slap in the face to customers
To the Editor:
RE: “Scotiabank in Kincardine set to close next July”

We’ve been with Scotiabank in Kincardine for decades and one of the reasons was that the staff was so great to deal with. Scotiabank still had the personal touch of a bank that knows and serves its customers.

In fact, we left the Royal Bank because the level of service had become so poor and impersonal.

In the past few years, I have noticed that Scotiabank has been cutting staff to the point where the dedicated employees were doing the job of several people while the greedy executives were making record profits, and of course, obscene amounts of money for themselves.

I will NOT remain with a bank if I can’t go in and speak to a representative or have to drive to another town to do my banking.

This is a huge slap in the face to Scotiabank’s customers, staff, the community and rural Canadians everywhere.
