Belated Birthday greetings to Doug MacDonald, Kathy Martin, Laura Irwin and Cameron Lamont last week. Joyce Farrell and Anna Leis celebrated their birthdays Friday evening with family.

The community bridal shower for Emily Simpson, Saturday, was well-attended and lots of good wishes are extended to Emily and Tyler!

Cheryl and Carmen Bridge and family and many others enjoyed the Festival of Lights in Formosa over the weekend (photos below). What an impressive display of lights and displays! New this year was Christmas Card Lane with local artisans creating a four-foot-by-four-foot display of "What Christmas Means to us." Unless you have a chance to see it, you can't imagine the amount of work and miles of lights that the Village of Formosa puts up! Congratulations to Formosa for bringing Christmas cheer to so many people!

Congratulations to all who participated in the Kincardine Santa Claus Parade! A great night out for lots of families!

The Kincardine Community Singers are holding three concerts this weekend, Dec. 8-10, and it looks as if they will be to sold-out crowds!

We are certainly blessed with all kinds of talents in our communities. It's what makes our communities special, for sure!

Santa and Mrs. Claus also made a stop in Ripley, Saturday evening, at the arena and were welcomed by lots of little people there too!
