Santa and Mrs. Claus greet children at Ripley Arena
It was warm and cozy in the social room at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre, as Santa and Mrs. Claus visited with a plethora of children during Ripley’s 23rd annual Christmas Celebration, Saturday evening.

A crowd of young and old enjoyed free public skating, beginning at 5 p.m., and plenty more ran to meet with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Families were busy taking photos of their little ones with the pair, and Ripley-Huron Fall Fair ambassador Hannah MacDonald and Elf Cathy Pennington were kept busy handing out treat bags. Hot chocolate and cookies were also available.

The event is sponsored by the Ripley Business Community, the Ripley and District Lions Club, and Bruce Power.
