Accused faces multiple criminal charges after home invasion in Kincardine
(KINCARDINE, ON) – Nov. 28, at 5:44 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a home invasion along Princes Street South in Kincardine.
Officers arrived to find that the homeowner had been injured and the involved person had already left.
As a result of the police investigation, the involved person was identified and taken into custody after a brief struggle with police.
Nathan McNICHOL, 24, of the Municipality of West Perth was charged with:
- Break and Enter
- Assault with a Weapon – two counts
- Flight from Peace Officer
- Dangerous Driving
- Assault Peace Officer – two counts
- Theft under $5,000
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order – two counts
The accused remains in custody pending the result of his next show-cause hearing scheduled for Dec. 8.
