South Bruce OPP respond to collision, arrest impaired driver
(KINCARDINE, ON) - Dec. 10, at 6:37 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a two-vehicle collision along Upper Lorne Beach Road in the Municipality of Kincardine. 

Officers responded to find a golf cart had struck a parked vehicle.

The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol, was placed under arrest and taken to a Qualified Intoxilizer Technician for breath tests.

Timothy RYDER, 64, of the Municipality of Kincardine was charged with:
 
  • Impaired Driving
  • Operate over-80 milligrams

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton, Feb. 7, 2024, to answer to the charges.

There were no injuries reported at the scene. 

An impaired driving charge includes an immediate 90-day driver's licence suspension and an immediate seven-day vehicle impoundment.
