​Ruby Peterbaugh of Ripley dies at the age of 90

Ruby Kathleen Peterbaugh, beloved wife of the late Donald Peterbaugh, of Ripley, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at Huron Shores Hospice, Tiverton, at that age of 90.

Born Oct. 20, 1933, in Bruce Township, she was the daughter of the late Annie (Stanley) and Archie Bonnett.

Dear mother of Debbie Sedlmeir (Paul) of Port Elgin; Lorie Roman (Mark) of Victoria, British Columbia; and Shirley Konecny (John) of Chatham.

Also left to mourn are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Mary) and Robert; sister, Jean; and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her son, Doug; and her brother, Lloyd.

The funeral will be held at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley, Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, at 2 p.m., with visitation beginning at Noon.

Interment, Ripley Cemetery.
