Dr. Owen Montpellier joins Kincardine Family Health Organization

The Municipality of Kincardine is pleased to welcome Dr. Owen Montpellier who joined the Kincardine Family Health Organization and began work this week.

“We are thrilled to have Dr. Montpellier and his family join our community, a huge welcome,” said mayor Kenneth Craig (left, in photo with Montpellier).

Montpellier is taking over the family practice of Kincardine physician, Dr. Daniel Soong, who plans to focus exclusively on emergency medicine at the Kincardine hospital.

Originally from Sudbury, Montpellier completed his medical degree at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. He then completed residency in family medicine at Western University where he predominately worked in rural medicine. He and his wife, Janique, and two children will reside in Kincardine.
