Cathy and Bob Slesser were the winners of $1,856 in Wednesday’s Catch the Ace draw. They chose Envelope No. 36 which contained the King of Diamonds. If they had found the Ace of Spades, they would have shared $33,480.50! Its time to buckle down and really make this pot grow. You can purchase tickets at the Legion Club Room bar, Sleepers Bed Gallery, In Style Hair Salon, Edward Fuels, Jean’s Family Restaurant, and Kwik Way in Tiverton or on-line. Let’s see who can tempt Lady Luck to be on their side. The odds are better than any other lottery. Dream big and let’s see if we can’t get the jackpot over $40,000 by Draw No. 22.

There were no double-dippers at the Saturday Meat Draw but Jim McDonald did manage to win some meat and $185.50 in the 50/50 draw.

As you probably know the One Man Three Legends Concert for Feb. 17 is SOLD OUT, but you still have a chance at getting your hands on tickets for the Mud Men concert, celebrating Tartan Day, April 6. Tickets are $25 each; available at the Legion Club Room bar. The Legion opens at Noon and the doors for the event open at 7 p.m.

We are also hosting a St Patrick’s Day party, March 15, with the Irish Cowboys entertaining us; food will be available and entry is by donation. Legion doors open at Noon and the doors for this event open at 5 p.m.

This month's Trivia Night is Feb. 16; sign-up starts Feb. 5. You must register at the Club Room bar in advance; we do not hold tables. There will be a Jam Session in the club room on the same night.

Please note the Legion is open Monday, Feb. 19, which is Family Day.

The Robbie Burns Day Supper was a great success, and a big thanks to West Coast Catering for catering it for us.

The kitchen renovations are in full swing and we are hoping to be back on track soon. Just remember these things take time and there is always a chance for delays. We will keep you posted as things progress.
