Kincardine Legion Corner

Congratulations to Maurice Piper who won $2,467 in the Catch the Ace draw. He chose Envelope No. 51 which contained the 10 of Diamonds. If he had caught the Ace of Spades, $47,276 would have been all his! The jackpot should be sitting at almost $50,000 by the time the next draw is made. Get in on the game and see if you are the lucky one to win some serious cash. Still the best gig in town!

There were no double-dippers at the Saturday Meat Draw, but Shannon and Hailey Allen took two prizes home for the family. The 50/50 winner was soon to be wed Stephanie Seiler (above) who won $157.

Congratulations to Brenda Jolly who won the $1,000 jackpot at Thursday Night Bingo. March 28, the jackpot will be $1,200, and May 16, the jackpot will be $1,500.00. Come join the fun and take a chance at being the next jackpot winner.

The St. Patrick’s Day Party will be here before you know it. March 15, drop in to the Legion and join the party. The Irish Cowboys will be rocking the hall and there will be food for sale; no need to go anywhere else as we even have Guinness on tap to complete the Irish experience. The doors to the Legion open at Noon and the entertainment starts at 6 p.m. There are no tickets to buy; this is a cash donation event and everyone is welcome.

The next Trivia Night will be March 22. So, grab your brainiac friends and join in the fun. Sign-up starts March 11. There are no holds for a table and you must pay in advance, $5 a person and eight to a table. Usually, 20 tables are available.

Have a great week, and we hope to see you at the Legion!
