​Madalene Culbert of Kincardine dies at the age of 85

Madalene Louise Culbert (née Hunks) of Kincardine, died peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Saturday, March 16, 2024, in her 86th year.

Beloved wife of the late Roy Culbert (2001).

Loving mother of Duane of Kincardine Township, Glen of Ayr and Nancy (Kent) of London.

Cherished grandmother of Britain, Rory, Ainsley and Ewan.

The youngest of seven children, Madalene is the last surviving member of her family, being predeceased by her parents; four brothers, Gordon, Bernard, Victor and Everett; and two sisters, Maria and Lucille.

Madalene was well-known for her volunteering in the Kincardine area.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service, as she never liked anyone fussing over her. A private family burial service will be held.
