Ainsdale Golf Course set to open next week, weather permitting
Following a successful open house on the weekend, Ainsdale Golf Course is tentatively scheduled to open Wednesday, April 17, with bookable tee times between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Taylor and Charles Candler, who own and operate the 18-hole golf course, located on Highway 21 just south of Kincardine, welcomed a good crowd at the open house, held Friday evening and Saturday.
Golfers were able to purchase their 2024 memberships, shop new merchandise and check out the many Golf Shop sales and packages, as well as gift cards.
The Candlers say the long-range forecast is looking decent and they are aiming to open the golf course April 17. Carts will be a day-by-day decision as they see how the weather looks and/or how much rain the area is anticipated to receive.
Please watch Ainsdale’s social media accounts for updates with this, as well as on the tee sheet, itself, and they will send E-mail updates as well.
Beginning today (April 8), members were able to book tee times for opening day. All public players will be able to book, beginning Wednesday, April 10, for opening day.
Call the Golf Shop, at 519-395-5555, to book, or utilize Ainsdale’s on-line booking by visiting the website at:
ainsdalegolfcourse.com.
The driving range will not be open April 17. This will follow soon and the Candlers will notify everyone once they have a projected opening date for that.
The putting green by the first tee is open and available to use prior to your round!
All snacks and packaged drinks will be available in the Golf Shop for opening day, but the restaurant and bar are not open at this time.
