NWMO donates $15,000 toward CT scanner at Wingham Hospital

The Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) has donated $15,000 to the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation’s “Caring Together” campaign.

The NWMO is dedicated to supporting organizations that serve the region surrounding South Bruce and North Huron.

“We are proud to invest in the well-being of the community, and the CT scanner will certainly play a big role in serving this area for a long time,” said Nikole Hagerman, NWMO relationship manager, South Bruce.

Campaign chairman Mark Foxton accepted the donation with sincere thanks. “We are pleased to see the NWMO take an interest in our community and this important project. The NWMO’s contribution will help move this project forward.”
