Battlers donate $1,250 to Huron Shores Hospice
Keith and Linda Battler have presented a donation of $1,250 to Huron Shores Hospice, representing the first installment of his commitment to donate $250 for every property listed in 2024.
This is the fourth year in a row the Battlers have donated to the hospice as an expression of appreciation for the care and comfort received by Keith’s sister-in-law while she was a resident of Huron Shores Hospice.
Last year, they generously donated more than $4,500 toward operations costs for the hospice. Their total financial support, to date, is $22,000.
Huron Shores Hospice provides quality end-of-life care, at no cost, to residents of Kincardine, Saugeen Shores, Huron-Kinloss and surrounding areas. Its vision is to create a world where end-of-life receives the same beauty, care and respect as the beginning, by creating moments that matter.
In addition to end-of-life care, the hospice provides free programs for Grief Recovery, End-of-Life Doula services, Death Cafes and End-of-Life Planning workshops.
Huron Shores Hospice is a charitable not-for-profit, volunteer-led, community-funded organization, located within Tiverton Park Manor.
