Accused facing multiple criminal charges after robbery in downtown Kincardine

(KINCARDINE, ON) - May 11, at 5:52 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a robbery at a jewellery store in downtown Kincardine.

Officers arrived to find that the business owner had been injured. The involved person was arrested at the scene.

As a result of the police investigation, the involved person was identified and taken into custody.

A 46-year-old of Saugeen First Nation was charged with:
 

• Break and Enter
• Assault with a Weapon - two counts
• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
• Robbery with theft
• Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused remains in custody pending the result of a show-cause hearing, May 11.

All items stolen have been recovered. The victim was transported to a local hospital and released with minor injuries.
