​KDSS athletes advance to CWOSSA track and field meet in Brantford

About 30 high school athletes at Kincardine District Senior School are advancing to CWOSSA, after finishing in the top four at the Bluewater track and field meet, held Monday, May 13, at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.

It was a perfect day, warm, windy and overcast, as athletes from across Bruce and Grey counties competed in track and field events, including hurdles, running races, relay races, high jump, javelin, shot put, discus, running long jump, triple jump and steeplechase.

The following athletes finished in the top four and will compete at the CWOSSA track and field meet, May 22-23, in Brantford:

• Novice girls 300-metre hurdles – Lily O’Handley, third
