Monday Market returns to Victoria Park in Kincardine
A huge crowd flocked to Victoria Park in Kincardine for the return of the Monday Market, on the Victoria Day weekend.
The market was moved to Connaught Park last year due to the reconstruction project on Queen Street.
There were plenty of vendors in Victoria Park, Monday, selling everything from produce and baked goods, to clothing, sweet treats, crafts, jewellery, Epicure products and more.
Youngsters enjoyed having their faces painted by Lisa Leyes of Toronto, a summer resident in the Kincardine area.
The Market in the Park, runs every Monday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., until Labour Day. The event is now co-ordinated by the Kincardine Business Improvement Area (BIA), rather than the municipal tourism department.
Meanwhile, the Kincardine Farmers’ Market, held in Connaught Park, returns Saturday, May 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and continues to Sept. 14. It is co-ordinated by the Kincardine Agricultural Society.
