​Ripley Lions raise $14,000 at Golf for a Cause

The Ripley and District Lions Club held its third annual Golf for a Cause, Friday, May 24, at Ainsdale Golf Course.

The event welcomed a full slate of golfers and a lot of wonderful supporters to make the day a great success.

The club presented a cheque for $6,000 to Huron Shores Hospice, with the same amount to be presented to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation for the capital project at the Kincardine Hospital.

Since the golf tournament, the club is proud to say that due to the generosity of everyone involved, the actual cheques for the hospice and the hospital foundation will be $7,000 each!

The Ripley Lions thank all the sponsors, players and supporters for their outstanding contributions to these worthy causes.
