​Vicki Dore of Kincardine dies at the age of 65

Vickilyn “Vicki” Elizabeth Dore of Kincardine, died peacefully at home, May 12, 2024, at the age of 65.

Born June 12, 1958, she was the daughter of Donald and Mae (Wood) Dore. Vicki always felt very blessed to grow up within the loving community of Purple Grove.

Vicki is survived by her two loving children, Amanda Holland of Barrie and Adam Holland of Barrie.

She will be dearly missed by her two grandchildren, Ayden and Aspen Mae.

Also survived by her three siblings, Jim and Alexa Dore of Wingham, Cate Dore of Orillia and Frank and Cyndella Dore of Lucknow.

Vicki was a very loving mother. She also loved music, and was an accomplished songwriter, singer and guitar player. She often travelled with her 12-string guitar to perform in various locations throughout the years.

Her other passion was sewing. She was an expert seamstress and had her own business making wedding dresses and such.

Vicki was happiest when she could dip her toes in her very favourite Lake Huron. She found peace listening to the waves.
