Kincardine swimmer wins silver medals at Ontario Special Olympics Spring Games
Kincardine swimmer Josh Easton of Kincardine brought home two silver medals from the Ontario Special Olympics Spring Games, held May 23-26 in Waterloo.
Easton was named to the Central Ontario team, with coach Angela Taylor, and competed against athletes from across the province.
He swam in the 25-metre freestyle, 25-metre breaststroke and 50-metre breaststroke, taking silver in both the breaststroke events.
His times were:
- 25-metre freestyle - 23.98 seconds
- 25-metre breaststroke - 30.95 seconds
- 50-metre breaststroke - 1.13 minutes
