Municipality recognizes U13 Kinucks for winning All-Ontario Championship

Kincardine council took a few moments at the start of the meeting Wednesday night (June 12) to recognize the Under-13 (U13) Kinucks who won the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) All-Ontario Championship back in April, in Kingston.

The team went undefeated in the round-robin, semi-finals and finals, with a 5-4 win over Clearview to earn first place in the division.

Mayor Kenneth Craig presented a plaque to each player and the coaching staff, commending them on their hard work and dedication to the game of hockey, and for representing Kincardine so well.

Members of the U13 Kinucks include Knox Kowalek, Jack Mogk, Cole Wilsack, Andrew Humphrey, Dylan Savage, Hayden Adams, Damian Szydlowski, Jacob Ginman, Sam Humphrey, Colby Walton, Colton Bernard, Owen Burton, Brady Collins, Colden Dalton, Sheldon Holt, coaches Jared Adams and Brent Walton, trainer Tom Humphrey, and manager Jason Holt.
