South Bruce OPP investigating fatality in Brant Township
(BRANT TOWNSHIP, ON) - One individual is dead, following a collision in Brant Township.
July 9, at 6:04 a.m. the South Bruce OPP, Bruce County Paramedic Services and the Walkerton Fire Department responded to the report of a serious collision involving a motorcycle and a deer, on Sideroad 5 South in the township.
A 68-year-old of Brockton was transported to a local hospital by ambulance, and was pronounced deceased. The identity of the victim will not be released due to the privacy of the family.
Sideroad 5 South was closed, between Highway 9 and Bruce County Road 2, but has since been re-opened.
The OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team is assisting with the investigation.
