South Bruce OPP report liquor charge; and soccer field damage

DRIVER WILL TRY WALKING FOR THREE DAYS
 

(KINCARDINE, ON) – Nov. 28, at 6:52 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Queen Street, Kincardine, stopped a grey Nissan pick-up. 

The officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. A three-day driver’s licence suspension was served following a warn range result at the roadside.
 

POLICE INVESTIGATING SOCCER FIELD DAMAGE
 

(TARA, ON) – Nov. 28, at 2:36 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of mischief at the Arran-Tara Community Centre located along Hamilton Street in Tara. 

Sometime during the late evening hours of Nov. 27, or early morning hours of Nov. 28, the soccer field was damaged. The damage appears to have been caused by the spinning tires of a vehicle.

Damaging property is a criminal offence called mischief, which can result in a fine or jail time upon conviction. Repairs to the soccer field are estimated to be $300.
