South Bruce OPP report impaired driver; and theft
IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED IN HURON-KINLOSS
(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) - July 30, at 11:29 p.m., the South Bruce OPP conducted a traffic stop on Concession 12 in the Township of Huron-Kinloss.
The driver was found to have been under the influence of alcohol, was placed under arrest and taken to a qualified breath technician.
Derek SKINNER, 54, of the Municipality of Kincardine was charged with Operation while impaired -over-80.
POLICE MAKE ARREST IN STOLEN VEHICLE INVESTIGATION
(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) - July 31, at 6:47 a.m., the South Bruce OPP responded to the theft of a motor vehicle.
Police attended Hayes Lake Road in the Township of Huron-Kinloss and located the
stolen vehicle (below). An officer on patrol located the individual responsible for the theft.
As a result of the investigation, Matthew PRITCHARD, 39, of Huron-Kinloss has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Possession of Schedule 1 Controlled Substance (CDSA)
- Theft over $5,000
- Possession of Property over $5,000
- Mischief
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
