​Hugh Lane of Lucknow dies at the age of 94

Hugh Leslie Lane, son of the late Malcolm and Myrtle (Congram) Lane, died at the Wingham and District Hospital, Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, in his 95th year.

Survived by his wife, Marguerite “Meg” (Tyler) Lane of Lucknow; his stepson, Blaine Salkeld of Kinloss Township; and one brother, D. Stewart Lane (Margaret).

Predeceased by his siblings, Wm. Everett, John A. and M. Kathleen Brown.

Following Hugh’s request, there will be no funeral service.

Interment, Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow.
