The Kincardine Community Concert Band has been rehearsing and practising, and is now ready to perform its Christmas concert, Sunday afternoon at Kincardine United Church.
The band was at Trillium Court Seniors' Community, Wednesday evening, presenting its concert, much to the delight of the staff, residents and guests. The music is very upbeat and inspiring and includes some challenging new pieces as well as many old favourite Christmas songs and carols.
Called "A Christmas Celebration," the concert will feature as special guests, the Ripley-Huron Community School choir.
The show runs Sunday, Dec. 6, at 3 p.m. at Kincardine United Church.
Free will donations will be gratefully accepted at the door, to be shared between the band and the church.
