​Kincardine hosts Welcoming Week open house, Sept. 17

Welcoming Week runs Sept. 13-22 in Grey-Bruce. Celebrated annually worldwide, it's an opportunity for organizations and communities to work together to build strong connections and reaffirm their commitment to inclusivity.

This year, the Municipality of Kincardine will host many community partners at this event in order to provide information on services and supports available in the community to help newcomers settle, work, and belong.

The open house is being held Tuesday, Sept. 17, from 4-7 p.m., at the Welcome Centre in downtown Kincardine.

Registration is not required, and people of all ages are welcome to drop in at any time to enjoy some light refreshments, connect with others, and learn about services in the community. There will also be information about fun things to do throughout the community.
