The developer of the new Fairway Estates in Kincardine, together with realtors Jeff Scott and Bart Chinnick of Royal LePage Exchange Realty Co., are throwing their support behind the Kincardine Hospital capital campaign.
The developer, Keldon Developments, will donate $1,000 from the sale of each new home, while the realtors will donate $500 from each unit sold - a pledge of more than $65,000.
The Fairway Estates developer and reators have pledged $65,000 for the Kincardine Hospital capital campaign; on hand for the announcement, are Jack Nancekivell (left), Margaret Visser, Graham Mahood and Carol Collins of the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, Jill Walden of Keldon Developments, and Bart Chinnick and Jeff Scott of Royal LePage Exchange Realty Co.
The capital campaign is focused on raising the local contribution of $18-million to fund the expansion and renovation of the hospital, with the provincial government funding the remainder. The $79-million project will more than double the footprint of the emergency room, medical imaging unit (including the CT and new MRI machine) and laboratory space.
Fairway Estates is an exclusive enclave of 45 premium bungalow condos abutting one of Canada’s oldest golf courses, and steps from the beaches of Lake Huron and its world-renowned sunsets.
These adult lifestyle homes, ranging in size from 1,240-1,721 square feet, feature an open concept layout with nine-foot ceilings, quartz kitchen countertops and vanities, two main level bedrooms (including a primary with an ensuite), the most comfortable and high-efficiency in-floor heat throughout, an attached garage, and a concrete driveway and patio. The larger units have the option of a third bedroom or den in the loft area and an attached two car garage.
Construction is under way, with possession beginning December, 2024.
