Rotary Seniors' Picnic returns to Kincardine Pavilion
About 90 seniors and staff from Tiverton Park Manor, Trillium Court Seniors’ Community in Kincardine, and Rosewood RVilla Retirement Living in Ripley, gathered at the Kincardine Pavilion, Tuesday afternoon for the annual seniors’ picnic, hosted by the Rotary Club of Kincardine.
This is the first time the picnic has been held since the COVID-19 pandemic, and the crowd enjoyed delicious food, catered by Karen McLelland-Seal, and great music, provided by Lorne Seal and Friends.
The event was ongoing for almost 20 years, prior to the pandemic. Originally, it was held at Rotary Park, across from the Kincardine Harbour, but was moved to the pavilion in 2009.
Appreciation to the Rotary Club, the picnic organizers, caterer, entertainment, and the many volunteers, for a terrific afternoon. The flowers were donated by Sobeys Kincardine.
