South Bruce OPP report stolen vehicle recovered; and impaired driver arrested

STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED IN WALKERTON

(BROCKTON, ON) - Sept. 23, at 4:32 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a stolen pick-up truck, taken from an address along Concession 12 in the Municipality of Brockton.

The vehicle was later located along McNab Street in Walkerton where one individual was placed under arrest.

As a result of the investigation, Dustin RICHARDSON, 34 of North Perth, has been charged with the following offences:
 

• Theft over $5,000 - CC 334(a)
• Possession of property obtained by crime - CC 354(1)(a)
• Fail to comply with probation - CC 733.1(1)
• Driving while under suspension - HTA 53(1)

The accused was held for a bail hearing and later released from custody. The accused is set to appear in the Walkerton Court of Justice, Oct. 12.

DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER COLLISION

(BROCKTON, ON) - Sept. 19, at 7:36 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a motor vehicle collision along Concession 8 in Brockton.

As a result of the investigation, Timothy DIEMERT, 52, of Hanover was charged with Operation while impaired (80-plus) - CC 320.14(1)(b).
