​Clarence Ritchie of Lucknow dies at the age of 95

Clarence Russell Ritchie, beloved husband of Alice (Johnston), of Lucknow, died peacefully at Pinecrest Manor, Monday, Nov. 4, 2024, at the age of 95.

Born in Ashfield Township, Sept. 9, 1929, he was the son of the late Lila (Robb) and Gordon Ritchie.

Greatly missed by his children, Barb (Larry) Harper of Belgrave, Brenda (Nick) Barclay of Egmondville, Steve (Linda) Ritchie of Sundre, Alberta; Don (Karen) Ritchie of Lucknow, and Maryanne (Fred) Leget of London; as well as 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Also survived by his brother-in-law, Jack Johnston of Strathroy; and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his brothers, Leonard (Bernadeen), Harold (Loraine), Lorne (Margaret), Mervin (May), and Marvin, in infancy.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024, from 7-9 p.m., at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow.

The funeral will be held at Lucknow United Church, Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, at 2 p.m., with visitation also one hour prior.

Interment, Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow.
